James Norman

James Norman is a Research Analyst for the Global Integrated Power Tracker. Before joining GEM, he completed his PhD in renewable energy and climate science at the University of Leeds, UK. His doctoral thesis focused on analyzing the impact of summer monsoon on wind and solar PV generation in India. Before pursuing postgraduate studies, James worked as an energy consultant and researcher in both the private sector and an environmental think tank. James holds a Master’s degree in Climate Change from the University of Copenhagen, and a bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Bristol, UK.
