Ye Huang (she/her) is a researcher for Renewable and Other Power at Global Energy Monitor. Prior to joining GEM, she had working experience at UN Global Compact and UNFCCC on Climate Change and Sustainability issues. Before focusing on a career in the energy and climate sector, she spent several years in Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America researching wildlife conservation, community development, and Chinese overseas investment. She holds a master’s degree in International and Comparative Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
