Saul Lerman-Sinkoff is Research Analyst at Global Energy Monitor focused on developing methane emissions estimates across coal mines, oil and gas fields, pipelines, and LNG terminals. Saul is a researcher and environmental planner with an academic background in low-cost methane monitoring, geospatial analysis, and energy geographies. They hold a Ph.D. in Geography from Clark University and a BA in Earth & Environmental Science from Wesleyan University. Prior to beginning their graduate studies, Saul facilitated data sharing activities between federal agencies and community-based organizations participating in the Lower Passaic River Urban Waters Federal Partnership, and supported citizen science air and noise monitoring efforts with the Barry Commoner Center for Health and Environment and WE ACT for Environmental Justice.
