Lucy Hummer

Lucy Hummer has been a researcher at Global Energy Monitor since May 2022. They work on the Global Coal Plant Tracker, with primary focuses on Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Europe. Before GEM, Lucy was a community organizer and research assistant. Their energy system research appeared in the journal Energy Research & Social Science in April 2025. Lucy has a Master’s degree in Environmental Resource Policy from the George Washington University.
