Charmaine Dalisay (she/her) is a researcher at Global Energy Monitor working with partner organization WattTime on the Climate TRACE project. She has extensive experience conducting environmental and social research utilizing geographic information systems (GIS). Charmaine has a passion for studying the intersection between society, ecology and climate change to gain understanding on how to create resilient solutions for future disasters. As an avid map maker, she hopes to use maps as a canvas to communicate critical climate issues. She holds a Bachelor of Science in GeoDesign and a Masters in Environmental Studies from the University of Southern California (Fight On!).
