GEM’s Commitment to Candidates
Transparency. GEM strives to create an excellent candidate experience that allows the candidate to clearly understand from the beginning what to expect from the interview process, the anticipated timeline for hiring, compensation, and benefits, as well as what would be expected of the candidate if they were offered the role.
Inclusion. GEM’s goal is to provide an inclusive and welcoming process that allows all candidates to feel respected, appreciated, and comfortable, thereby creating the conditions for both GEM and the candidate to determine if there is a good fit.
Communication. GEM respects the time and emotional energy it takes for candidates to apply for jobs and is committed to prioritizing timely communication and providing updates about our process. GEM seeks to answer every email and every question from candidates. If a candidate is eliminated from consideration for a position at GEM, we will let them know as soon as possible.
Fairness. Employment decisions are based on GEM’s needs and each candidate’s qualifications, irrespective of any aspects of a candidate’s background that do not affect job performance. GEM utilizes a team approach to hiring that allows us to implement checks and balances to create a fair process for all applicants. All Hiring Team members receive training in implicit bias and other important areas.
