Janna Smith

Janna Smith (she/her) began research for Global Energy Monitor in 2021. She holds a BA in Chinese language and culture from the University of Edinburgh, and an MSc from the Global Security Institute at Durham University, UK. Her Master’s research focused on Chinese corporate response to local protest within the resource extraction industry in Peru.
