The Europe Gas Tracker provides information on three types of fossil gas infrastructure in Europe. First, the tracker provides information on existing and proposed gas-fired power plants. Second, the tracker provides information on existing and proposed fossil gas pipelines. Third, the tracker provides information on existing and proposed liquified natural gas (LNG) terminals. In addition, the tracker provides information on gas extraction areas. The tracker uses a two-level system for organizing information. Summary information including location, status, owner, and size is found on the maps and the table. For further details, each unit shown on map or in a table is linked to a wiki page on GEM.wiki.
